What are some ways your restaurant is rebounding from the effects of COVID-19?

Luckily, our restaurant is a drive-thru and walk-up establishment. This turned out to be a positive differentiator in the midst of everything going on with COVID-19. We recently started construction on a second location in Niles, and we hope to open it before the end of the year.

What’s been the reaction from customers so far?

Reactions from customers have been very positive, and they seem to feel very comfortable “dining” with us. I feel that customers are more comfortable because we do have the option of driving through. This allows for limited contact between us and the customers.

What impact has the outbreak had on you personally?

Personally, the outbreak has had both negative and positive impacts on me. Some of the negatives, unfortunately, are seeing family and friends be affected, in terms of their physical or financial well-being. The positives I can find amongst all this include the continued success and growth that my business is seeing.

What advice are you sharing with the people you love?

I’m not sure I would call this advice, but as far as dealing with COVID-19, I try to stay as informed as possible. As a team, we often exchange this information with one another. Also, be sure to take care of your health and your body, because you only get one.
